Shea Butter ( Butyrospermum Parkii ) is a fat extracted from the nut of the African shea tree (Vitellaria paradoxa). It is ivory in color when raw and commonly dyed yellow with borututu root or palm oil, which can give it the yellow color.
It contains anti-inflammatory substances, which ease swelling and redness in skin. It can be use to help irritations, sunburns, or redness. Shea butter contains 2 main antioxidants (Vitamins A&E) that help increase the skin cell-turnover rate, smoothen the skin surface, help boost collagen production which decrease sagging skin and increase skin moisturization
